Steven Wilson made a rare visit to Dallas Tuesday evening, performing at Majestic Theater.
With the help of Nick Beggs on bass and Chapman stick, Adam Holzman on keyboards and synths, Craig Blundel on drums, and Dave Kilminster on guitar, Steven and his band covered a variety of songs from his solo releases, as well as several Porcupine Tree hits; Dark Matter, Lazarus, Don’t Hate Me, Sleep Together, & The Sound of Muzak.
Steven Wilson’s latest studio release is the six-song E.P. ‘4-1/2‘, a transitionary follow up to ‘Hand. Cannot. Erase.‘, which won both Progressive Music Awards “Album of the Year” and “The Storm Thorgerson Grand Design Award”. Steven will be also releaseing a 9LP vinyl box set “The Delerium Years 1991-93” covering his early solo recordings under the name Porcupine Tree (and follows the box set from earlier this year “The Delerium Years 1994-97” which covered the first band line up era). The set is due for release by Kscope in January 2017.
