Slipknot performs at Gexa Energy Pavilion - Dallas, TX | Copyright 2014 - North Texas Live! There couldn’t have been a better time for Slipknot’s “Prepare for Hell” tour to hit Dallas than Halloween night, with Korn and King 810 supporting.

Having just finished the 3-day Knotfest in California, Slipknot will pick up the 3rd annual festival in Japan on November 15th and 16th, while also supporting their latest album, .5: The Gray Chapter (Related: Sid Wilson, AKA “DJ Starscream” opened 2012’s Twin’s of Evil / Freaker’s Ball featuring Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson)

Korn, who will also be joining Knotfest in Japan, took the stage in full Halloween spirit with Johnathon Davis dressed as Where’s Waldo, Brian “Head” Welch in a muscle-man bodysuit, Ray Luzier as a Native Indian, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu as the Phantom of the Opera, and James “Munkey” Shaffer as… yep, an evil sock monkey!

King 810 opened up the evening by violently smashing a bunch of (seemingly) non-functioning musical equipment, the plastic and metal shrapnel almost taking out a few eyeballs belonging to the staff in the pit (including myself), and some of the front row. Thanks guys, we all appreciated that.
